The organization of the European Universities Championship (EUC) Futsal met, this afternoon, with five responsible elements for the preparation of the European Universities Games (EUG) 2020, which will be Europe´s largest university sporting event in Belgrado. The two organizations discussed and adjusted some details about the planning of the competition.

EUC Futsal 2019 was one of the competitions chosen by the organization of the fifth edition of EUG for its observation mission. The last edition took place in Coimbra, Portugal, during the summer of 2018. Belgrade has already turned the engine on and started organizing the second largest multisport event in Serbia.

The capital of Serbia is thus preparing to receive more than 5500 participants from leading universities in Europe, where 20 modalities will have the opportunity to fight for the gold medal. The members of the EUG Belgrade 2020 organizing Committee will be in Braga between 13 and 17 July.
