EUC Futsal 2019 Ambassadors

The Organising Committee of the European Universities Futsal Championship challenge two student-athletes of the University of Minho to promote the competition and be the Ambassadors among the Futsal Family. We believe that they are a good example and will be a great inspiration for all the participants.

Nilson Miguel has a degree in Management of Human Resources and is currently taking a Master's degree of the same name at University of Minho.

He represents SC Braga/AAUM since January 2014, something that he currently conciliates with working in the Human Resources Department of Minho University Social Services.

He was portuguese university champion in 2015, 2016 and 2018 and participated in 3 European Championships in Poznan, Zagreb and Coimbra.

Playing for the Portuguese National Team, he is one of the 14 athletes crowned European Futsal Champion in February 2018, at Slovenia.

Telma Pereira is a student at Minho University, in the first year of an integrated Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. She had her first university sporting experience this year.

In her inaugural year in university championships she became a portuguese champion for the University of Minho team, standing out as their best goal scorer.

On the federation level, this Nun´Álvares/IESFafe player was the captain of the Portuguese National Team that won the Youth Olympics Games in Female Futsal, last year in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
